White Willow is a monthly lifestyle box that sends out surprise items from beauty, fashion, home, culinary, or all around lifestyle themes. They ship out four to five items and are a Canadian company. That makes me so happy I was okay paying slightly more than I normally would for a box. They promise a value of $70, so let’s hope they meet that. Subscriptions start at $35 a month but do go down a bit with longer plans. Shipping to here is $8.50/month.
This beautiful box was shipped inside a larger plain box. I can see why shipping is as much as it is. This box is huge!
It was beautifully packed inside as well. The ribbon and tissue made it special and under that there was plenty of squiggles to keep things safe.
There is an info card in there that lists everything you get plus a bit about them and their price. It is very well done and feels professional.
As this was my first box they included a welcome note. That’s a nice touch.
Classic Double Pearl Earrings by Cherrypick-$25.00
So I have to say for the first item out of the box I’m sad. I do not do pearls….ever. Also I think the trend of having decoration on both sides of the ear is so ugly. Not a great start.
White Soleil Candle by D.L. & Co.-$24.00
Now this more than makes up for the above let down. This smells so good! The whole box smelled like it when I opened it and the scent I received is Essence of Florets. It is crazy floral and my hubby will think it stinks but it is beautiful and like a perfume. The jar is glass and gold designed to go with anything really. Love this!!!!
Natural Foaming Face Wash by Constant Skincare-$22.00
This is an unscented cleanser. It lathers great and is unbelievably soft in our skin. It even has tea tree oil to fight blemishes while removing makeup and toning all in one. It has won Best Cleanser and Top Beauty Product awards. This is a find!
Gluten Free Artisan Vanilla Bean Cake Mix by NextJen-$8.00
This mix is free of soy, corn, nuts, dairy, sulphites, and xanthan gum. I’m not sure what that leaves actually. I’m sure this is tasty but I’ll have to make it in secret and not tell what it is until they decide if they like it or not. Thankfully they included a recipe beyond the basic one on the bag.
It looks good and I love London Fogs so I’ll maybe go this way.
Earl Grey Imperial Tea Sachets by Harney & Sons Master Tea Blenders-$6.00
The only way I drink Earl Grey is in a London Fog but Hubs will only drink that so this might disappear on me. I can tell it’s high quality though because it smells so much better than something like a Tetley. It is super fragrant and the perfect one to use in the above cake.
I’m really impressed with my first box from White Willow. The value is $85.00 so they made good on their promise. I don’t care for the earrings but that’s a chance you take with these boxes. Sometimes you find things you can no longer live without and sometimes not so much. I am always happy to find a Canadian box and this one is a good one! If you want to try them out click here.
