Glossybox January 2016

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I’ve been happy with their offerings so far.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now and most of the time you get the specialty boxes.

20160119_202031 20160119_202049

They take care in the presentation of the box.  It always has the ribbon and paper done nicely and underneath it is carefully protected with the squiggles.  I still hate them though.

20160119_202107 20160119_202114

The trifold card is nice as usual.  It tells you about what you received, a tip for using it, and full size retails.

20160119_202154

Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Gentle Clarifying Treatment-59mL $1.50

This is a rinse you use once a week to get rid of build up and add shine to your hair.  I have received this before a while ago and I thought it worked well so I’m okay with getting more.  I don’t use a whole lot of product in my hair ever but I can always use more shine.

20160119_202222

MeMeMe Lip Glide in Playful Peach-$12.50 Full Size

OMG I haven’t received any lipstick in forever so I’m so happy right now!  This is unfortunatley just an okay colour on me though.  It is maybe a bit too light so I think it looks funny.  I’ll have to try a liner to get this to great.  It says it will be long lasting so I’ll hold out hope for that.

20160119_202142

-417 Foot Nourishing Cream-50mL $8.00

This foot cream is made with water from the Dead Sea and aloe vera juice to heal and smooth your tired winter feet.  It is oddly light scented for a foot cream.  I find they usually are very minty scented and this one is not that at all.  I try to remember to use a foot cream everyday before bed so I will add this to my basket.

20160119_202129

Emite Make Up Diamond Heart Primer-15mL $12.28

This is an illuminating primer and that makes me happy.  I love me some primer and this one seems really nice.  It hid my pores and felt light on so I can’t wait to finish up the one I’m using and start this one.

20160119_202250

Royal Apothic Cream Creme To Go-$14.00 Full Size

There were assorted scents of this sent out and I received Cutting Garden.  It smells a bit like watermelon to me.  This lotion actually exfoliates as it moisturizes.  It seems like a good cream and since it smells nice I will be using it for sure.

This month’s box has a value of $48.20.  Two full size items this month and one half size.   This box is more expensive than the other beauty ones I get but it really is worth it for the stuff you get.  I am rarely sad after checking it out and you always get full sized products mixed in.  I have just a few months left for this one so I’m a bit sad to see it end.

Glossybox December 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I’ve been happy with their offerings so far.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now and most of the time you get the specialty boxes.

20151226_153300 20151226_153309

The box this month is soooo pretty!!!  I just love it!  I’ve been giving them to my mother after I’ve emptied them and I’m kinda tempted to keep this one even though I can’t come up with a use for it off the top of my head.

20151226_153323 20151226_153330

The info card has a few bonus things going on this month.  There is a coupon to get a complimentary beauty service at Estee Lauder and a 3 step method to look less fatigued. The usual stuff is there too.

20151226_153512

Glossybox Eyeshadow in Glossy Mauve-$11.00 Full Size

I didn’t realise they did their own brand of makeup.  This colour is really great actually.  It is lighter than you would think and has a great shimmer to it.  I’ve had a bit of a lack of makeup in boxes lately so this makes me more excited than I should be but we won’t let that bother us at all.

20151226_153450

MTJ Cosmetics High Definition Mascara-$21.00 Full Size

Mascara is the one thing I don’t need more of since I try to use up a tube before cracking another one.  This one is supposed to be long lasting and not smudge or flake off.  I guess we’ll find out.

20151226_153411

EMK Beverly Hills Supra Face Cream-10mL $27.56

I am stunned at how expensive this is!  This is good for your face, neck, and decollete and promises to plump, firm, and protect the delicate skin in those places.  It can be used morning and night but with such a small sample it won’t go very far.

20151226_153402

Color Club Nail Polish in Feverish-$8.50 Full Size

This is a nice wine colour that I don’t think I have in a polish yet.  It gives a fairly solid colour in just one coat and the brush is nice too.  I have a bit of a rainbow hand going on right now from trying different colours but they all kinda blend in and look okay.

20151226_153431

Lashfood Conditioning Lash Primer-4mL $10.00

I received a different lash primer a while ago but I cannot remember to use it ever.  This one helps to strengthen lashes and separate and lengthen as well.  Maybe I will remember to use it if I leave it out on the counter…..

This month’s box has a value of $78.06, which is closer to normal than last month was.  Three full size items this month and one half size.  Only the moisturizer is a small sample.  This box is more expensive than the other beauty ones I get but it really is worth it for the stuff you get.  I am rarely sad after checking it out and you always get full sized products mixed in.  I have just a few months left for this one so I’m a bit sad to see it end.

Glossybox November 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I’ve been happy with their offerings so far.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now and most of the time you get the specialty boxes.

20151117_165849 20151117_165856

I seem to have forgotten to take a picture of the items in their box this month but suffice to say they were all packed as usual in their little black squiggle bed.  The info card has all your items and their full size retails plus little tidbits or tips for each one.

20151117_165922

Flora-py Floral Therapy Facial Sheet-$8.00

This is the second most expensive mask I have ever received in a box.  There is no way I would ever buy one for $8.00, ever.  There were an assortment of scents in the boxes and I got the Sweet Dreams Mask, which is yarrow lavender to help calm, relax, and sleep.  I have only discovered these facial sheet masks since I’ve been getting boxes and I love them.  The family thinks I look insane wearing them but I don’t care.

20151117_170008

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy-25g $5.50

I like this brand even if I almost never have any of it.  This lotion has a very subtle scent and soaks in so quickly!  It has a bunch of good things in it that keep your hands all soft and healthy.  I will savour this tube.

20151117_165950

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme-5mL $8.50

This creme is so thick.  This one helps with all of the beginning signs of aging such as fine lines, dullness, and dehydration.  You can’t believe how small this little tub is but I think it will last a while since it spreads out quite a bit.

20151117_170111

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in You’re Toast-1.2g $2.04

I have received a few different shadows from this company and I like them.  This shade is a very shimmery bronze and I don’t think I have too many like it.  I am glad it’s a mineral shadow as they last longer and the colour is more stable as well.

20151117_170033

Beauty For Real D-Fine Perfect Lip Pencil-0.35g $14.00

This is a universal liner that can be used with any shade of lipstick or gloss.  Once I tried it out it really is flesh toned and I can’t even see it on my lips.  I think it just became my favorite lip liner ever!  It will be perfect for the holiday season and make sure my lips stay just right in case of random picture taking.

This months box has a value of $38.04, which I think is one of the lowest I’ve received from them.  Two of the items are full size this month, but the rest of the samples are still fair sized. This box is slightly more expensive then the other beauty ones I get but it really is worth it for the stuff you get.  I am rarely sad after checking it out and you always get full sized products mixed in.

Glossybox October 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I’ve been happy with their offerings so far.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now and most of the time you get the specialty boxes.

20151030_133115 20151030_133132

The box this month is so fancy!!  I love it!  Inside was just as beautiful and I love that they changed it to match.

20151030_133156 20151030_133204

I don’t see anywhere that it tells me exactly what the box theme is but I’m going to take a wild guess and say everything as a French twist to it.  The info card is the standard trifold that you get each month.  It tells you what you received, the full size retail, and a little tip or tidbit about the product.

20151030_133345

Phyto Phytokeratine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray-30mL $6.40

This is a heat protection spray that also detangles and helps to prevent breakage and future damage.  I don’t do all that much heat styling but since I’ll be switching to an office job part time in the new year that may change.  It smells really nice and I may put it to use as a leave in conditioner.

20151030_133308

De Bruyere Paris Lipgloss in Red-$17.50

This is a true red lip gloss.  It is not even remotely sticky and feels super nice on my lips.  The tip that they included with this is to wear a black eyeliner cat eye to be showstopping.

20151030_133237

Nuxe Gentle Exfoliating Gel With Rose Petals-75mL $26.00

This uses ground walnut shells as the exfoliation method and even though it’s safe for sensitive skin it leaves a tingle.  The rose is not overpowering so that is nice.  The recommendation is to use this twice a week to get soft glowing skin.

20151030_133326

Lollipops Make Up Paris Nail Lacquer in Voyage A Paris-$10.00

Well now my tips can match my lips.  I have a few red polishes but this one will make it into rotation, especially as Christmas is coming and a good red is the perfect base for some themed stickers.

20151030_133419

La Societe Parisienne De Savons Guest Soap in Carmin-$6.00

This is one of those soaps you put on a counter to seem posh and hope no one ever uses it.  Or it ends up in a drawer as a way to make your delicates smell good.  This is a very spicy scent and I like it but I don’t know that I would use it as an everyday kind of wash.  I love wrapped soaps though so this makes me giddy.

This months box has a value of $65.90, which is great.  There are four full sized items, and one larger sample.  I like the strong theme this month and the products are all good too.   This box is slightly more expensive then the other beauty ones I get but it really is worth it for the stuff you get.  I am rarely sad after checking it out and you always get full sized products mixed in.

Glossybox September 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I’ve been happy with their offerings so far.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now and most of the time you get the specialty boxes.

20150924_163448 20150924_163458

They have a really nice info card.  It is triple folded and not only tells you what you got but also a tip on using it and full size pricing.

20150924_163520

My first look in my box.  I really dislike the squiggles but they do keep my stuff safe during it’s long trip.

20150924_163532

12 Benefits Love At First Lather Foaming Hair Shampoo-50mL $9.00

Surprisingly this is a full size bottle.  I’m guessing that since it comes out foamy you use less and so a smaller bottle lasts for you, even though you are to use 10-12 pumps. I have never used a pre-foamed shampoo before but it is supposed to provide natural sunscreen, repair the texture of your hair, and protect the cuticle.  It has sunflower extract and coconut oil in it giving it all the good benefits.

20150924_163635

Stiks Cosmetics Lipstik in Red-$15.00

This is the oddest looking lipstick I have ever seen.  They say it’s designed to be applied with one hand in under five seconds.  I don’t know about that but it is a really nice pure red colour.  I don’t wear much red lipstick since it seems a bit out of place at work but it’s always good to have one.

20150924_163721

Biossanse The Revitalizer-4mL $1.71

This facial moisturizer is made with squalane, which they tell me is a naturally occurring emollient.  It has a little dropper applicator and should get rid of your dry skin.  I think this would be good for a night time moisturizer since it is kind of oily and left my skin very shiny until it absorbed after a bit.  It has no scent whatsoever.

20150924_163544

Emite Make Up Artist Colour Powder Blush-$22.00

This blush is huge!!!  No seriously, it has a diameter of 3″.  I thought it was going to be super dark and not great on my skin but it actually works.  It is definitely for shading and definition but fades out to blend in perfectly.

20150924_163749

Nails Inc Uptown Nail Polish-$9.83

This is not full sized, which seems odd.  Anyways this polish has plumping agents in it that help it last.  They call it a dusty rose colour that I thought I wouldn’t like looking at the bottle but on my nails it looks nice.  I would never ever have picked this bottle up in a store so this is one of those items where the box did it’s job.

This months box has a value of $57.54 which is double what I pay for it.  There are three full sized items, one 2/3rds sized item and one sample sized that will last a long time.  I like all of the items but know that the lipstick won’t get worn all that often.   This box is slightly more expensive then the other beauty ones I get but it really is worth it for the stuff you get.  I am rarely sad after checking it out and you always get full sized products mixed in.

Glossybox August 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I’ve been happy with their offerings so far.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now and most of the time you get the specialty boxes.

20150831_175902 20150831_175926

The info card is one of the better ones out there.  It gives you a pretty good blurb about the items you are receiving and tips or tidbits on using them to get the most out of them.

20150831_175946

The box is always the same size so this month when the samples are smaller items they can look lost in all the squiggles.

20150831_180121

Pop Beauty Kajal Pen in Sooty Black-$10.00 Full Size

This is another black eyeliner.  The difference in this one is that is comes with a smudgy foam on the other end so you can create a smoky eye easily. It also means this liner smears really easily.  It does glide on nicely, with no tugging though.  It will join my growing collection of black liners.

20150831_180045

Sparitual Nail Lacquer in Arroyo-$12.00 Full Size

This is a vegan polish made with responsibly sourced ingredients.  I love this colour!! It’s a lilacy-pink with lots of shimmer.  They sent out multiple colours so I’m now curious to know what others got because  this made me really happy.

20150831_180027

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lash Primer-$24.00 Full Size

I was starting to be sad to see another mascara in the box and then once I realised it’s a lash primer I changed my tune.  I have never used or received a lash primer before.  This is used under your regular mascara to stop it from flaking and keep you looking good all day.  You can also put it on after washing your face before bed to have conditioned lashes when you wake up.

20150831_180058

Glamglow Youthcleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser-30g $7.80

This is the only non-full sized item in the box this month.  I’ve receieved some other Glamglow products and I have liked them alot.  This starts off as a mud and then lathers with water to get rid of all the stuff on your face.  It also some scrubbers in it to exfoliate as you go.

20150831_175959

Lollipops Makeup Lip Balm-$5.50 Full Size

I have no idea what flavour this is but it’s great.  It kinda seems like maybe Buttercream.  It is not coloured at all just a clear balm to keep your lips soft and chap free.  As you can see from the picture those stupid squiggles leave dust everywhere.  Small price to pay for keeping things safe I guess.

This months box has a value of $59.30, which is double what I pay for it.  I’m thrilled that it was four full sized items and one bigger sized sample.  I like all of the items this time, even the liner.  I am in love with the polish and can’t wait to paint my nails.  This box is slightly more expensive then the other beauty ones I get but it really is worth it for the stuff you get.

Glossybox July 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I thought I’d give them a try.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now.

20150717_143502

There was no themed box this month so just the regular pink one.

20150717_143439 20150717_143447

They do have a nice info card though.  It gives a great amount of info and a tip for each item you received.

20150717_143544

Hey Honey I Peel Good Cream-15mL $29.50

This seems like a small sample but it is actually half size so that’s not bad.  You have to massage this into your skin for 2-3 minutes and then goes from a thick cream to a more liquid texture that you wash off after.  It smells good and will be a nice change from the scrubs I’ve been using lately.

20150717_143533

Novex Haircare Brazilian Keratin Extra Deep Hair Care Cream-100g $1.68

This product is supposed to help make hair smooth and soft with lots of shine.  You use it like a hair mask, applying it for 3 minutes then rinsing out.  You can also leave it in overnight for added benefits if you think you need more care.  My ends are always in need of help and I can use all the shine I can get so this will be used weekly.

20150717_143638

Kueshi Anticellulite Booster-150mL $22.60

This is a full sized item, so that’s nice.  I never really think these cellulite creams work but you can be darned sure I’m going to use this to the last drop just in case.  This used astragalus root, butcher’s bloom and goldenrod flower to facilitate its magic.  They recommend you put this on before bed and let it work overnight.

20150717_143625

Face Stockholm Lip Liner in Helen-1.14g $8.50

This pencil is half size and looks like the normal length of a lip liner you buy so I can’t imagine how long it should be.   They sent out a few different colours but mine is a fairly true red shade.  I don’t wear much red lip but I think this will be okay under a gloss just to give some punch.

20150717_143558

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm in Peppermint-$5.50

So beyond being super expensive lip balm, this is super tingly.  It leaves no doubt that it is peppermint and feels really nice and I want to keep putting it on even when I don’t need more.  I haven’t been getting much lip balm lately so this is a nice treat.

This month has a value of $67.78.  I like everything but the lip liner, just cause I rarely use one.  I’m hoping the cellulite lotion does something and I can’t wait to use the hair cream.  This box consistently is a winner for me.

Glossybox June 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I thought I’d give them a try.  They have been shipping to Canada for a little while now.

20150619_161633

It’s always so pretty under the lid.  Bows and paper and stickers.  They do a good job of making you feel special.

20150619_161649 20150619_161658

They have a really nice info card too.  It tells you what you got, obviously, and full size retails.  It also gives you a tip for that product.

20150619_161723

Rich Hair Care Pure Luxury Intense Moisture Shampoo-80mL $3.99

I am not all that fond of getting just shampoo in a box.  I always use conditioner and this is two months in a row I’ve got just shampoo.  This one uses coconut oil to reduce static and add shine.  It smells like good shampoo and I’m sure it will be great, just as soon as I find some conditioner.

20150619_161752

Orly Nail Lacquer in Lola-5.3mL $2.55

This is such a cute little bottle of polish!  It is about 1/6th of a normal one.  There were a variety of shades sent out but I like this one.  It is a bright pink/coral shade and perfect for summer.  The only downside I have with it is that I’ve already received a few polishes in similar colours recently.  I have very few of this brand though.

20150619_161808 20150619_161830

Too Faced Cosmetics Better Than Sex Mascara-4.8g $14.48

This mascara promises to give tons of volume and length.  It is collagen-fulled, whatever that means.  It’s smudge-proof and has a shaped brush to give definition and curl.  I can’t wait to try it.

20150619_161739

Etre Belle Cosmetics Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizing Gel-40mL $24.95

I was surprised that this tube was full sized, it’s more like a sample size.  It smells fantastic and it not sticky like most gels are.  It is a super light moisturizer and will be great for when it gets really warm out.

20150619_161907

Doucce Blush Brush-$32.00

This is a kabuki style brush.  It’s really short for a blush brush.  I am not too sure how I feel about it.  It’s way more expensive then I would ever pay for a brush.  I’ve bought whole sets for less.  It does not say what the bristles are made out of but I’m guessing they are synthetic.

This months box was okay for me.  I’m iffy on the brush and so so on the polish but that’s just personal taste not a reflection on the items sent .  The value this month is super high, $77.97.  There were three full size products, if you count the brush as one and the other ones were larger multiple use sizes.  This box has been a consistent winner and is worth the slightly higher price tag to me.

Glossybox May 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I thought I’d give them a try.  They only recently started shipping to Canada.

20150527_213336

The box is back to normal this month.  Still all carefully wrapped and tied with a bow once you first open it and then under that was my goodies.

20150527_213410 20150527_213421

The info card is really nice with this box.  It gives great pictures of the products, the price for full size, and tips on how to use each item.

20150527_213625

Teeez Trend Cosmetics Head Over Heals Nail Lacquer in Cotton Candy-$14.00 Full Size

According to the card there were a few different shades sent out.  I like this pink colour and think it’s a great spring colour.  The brush is really odd to me.  I’ve never owned polish by this company before and they have a flat brush instead of the usual round that most use.  It makes it easier to apply as you only need two swipes and your whole nail is covered.

20150527_213545

Doucce Mineral Matte Lipstick in 907-$20.00 Full Size

The tube of this lipstick is very cool.  It is completely mirrored and half round/half square.  The lipstick itself was really dry and a little hard to apply.  It pulled at my lips and maybe would have been easier to use if I used a brush to apply.  The colour itself is good though.  A darker pink with a hint of mauve.  It does promise to last and has an SPF10 too.

20150527_213445

Clearista Retexturizing Gel-15mL $10.00

This smells awesome!!!!! It has a light rose scent that I really like.  It is made to be used after cleansing to smooth skin and help get rid of dry patches.  It has some type of scrubbies in it so it seems kind of like an exfoliant.

20150527_213434

Glamglow Powermud Dualcleanse Treatment-15g $20.29

I know this was a much wanted sample this month for lots of people.  The Glamglow products are highly recommended and I can’t wait to try this out.  This is a mask that you apply to clean skin and then let dry.  It will help you to get a velvety finish to your skin by providing detoxification and renewal.  It’s good for all skin types as well.

20150527_213458

Sebastian Professional Stylbrid 9 Hairspray-44g $4.99

I haven’t received hairspray in a while from my boxes so this is definitely welcome.  This is an all around hairspray not only giving hold but also texture, curl definition, UV protection and shine.  It is also alcohol free so no drying out your hair either.

This months box was okay for me.  I like everything included and there are no meh items.  The value this month is super high thanks to the Glamglow, $69.28.  There were two full size products and the other three were sample sized but still larger multiple use sizes.  This box has been a consistent winner and is worth the slightly higher price tag to me.

Glossybox April 2015

Glossybox gives you 5 deluxe samples of beauty products a month for $21.00 plus $5.00 shipping to Canada but do get cheaper with longer terms.  The buzz on the interweb feels that Glossybox has one of the best packaging of any of the boxes.  Every month they curate a selection of high-end, niche, and trendy beauty products in deluxe travel sizes that they send out and I thought I’d give them a try.  They only recently started shipping to Canada.

This is the top of the box this month.  Very graphic print.  Inside is the hand tied parcel and the info card neatly tucked in.

Under that wrapping was a surprise!  Under that was my products all nestled in their bed of squiggles.

The info card folds out and has lots of info about your items.

Marrakesh Endz: Split End Mender & Preventer-30mL $5.99

This is actually the full size of this product.  This hair repairer has argan and hemp oils in it.  It is supposed to  help control frizz and static while sealing split ends.  I have no set routine for getting my haircut so I can  go awhile before I remember.  As a result my ends do get a bit frayed.  You can apply this to wet or dry hair and I find the smell to be really strong.

Aerin Waterlily Sun EDP Spray-9mL $19.41

This is a cute bottle of perfume and much larger than the usual perfume samples that get included in boxes.  This scent is meant to induce thoughts of spring and it is super floral.  When I first gave it a spray I thought I didn’t like it but after a few minutes on my skin I’ve changed my mind.  It is a wonderfully soft scent that is very feminine.  I do usually wear floral scents even though Hubby prefers musks on me, and this one will join my rotation for sure.

Obsessive COmpulsive Cosmetics Stained Gloss in Rhythm Box-$18.00 Full Size

This is sooooo fuschia.  It’s a colour I would probably never ever pick up in the store.  If I use the tiniest little dot and spread it around it’s okay for me but I don’t know that this one will get much use.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum-7mL $14.88

I have received a few Estee Lauder products in different boxes and I really like them.  I would never buy them because they are way above my price range but they are a great line of skin care.  This little bottle will help to reduce the look of uneven skin tone and dark spots.  It will also give you a boost of moisture. Also they gave a discount code to get 15% off on the website.

Julep Gel Eye Glider in Navy Smoke-$16.00 Full SIze

Glossybox has included Julep products in their boxes before but this is my first eye liner from them.  The name is not a lie…this really does glide on.  It seems to be fairly smudge proof and is a nice change from the usual black liners I’ve been receiving.  I have no desire to sign up for the Julep box and I don’t think you can purchase their products without subscribing.

This little bag was a mystery gift.  Inside of it was a gift card to Thursday Friday.  They are a accessories website. My gift card gave me half off what I selected in my cart but I could have got the same deal just for signing up for their newsletter.  Shipping to Canada is $20 on top of whatever you choose.

This months box was great!  The only thing I’m kinda sad about is the lip gloss but that’s just because I don’t wear that bright of a colour often.  The value of this box was $74.28 without counting the gift card.  As a test I picked an $85 dollar bag off the website and it took half off so it doesn’t seem to have a limit on it.  Glossybox has been consistently good for the three months I’ve received it so far.  Hope it keeps up.
