Feriwola Men’s Watch Reveiw

Disclaimer: I received this product for a discount but all opinions are my own.

My husband is not much of a watch guy but there are occasions when he does want to have the ease of not pulling out his phone to check the time.  After a quick browse around the Feriwola site, I found this one to give a try for him.

It came in this plastic wrapper, wrapped up in foam padding, and in a plastic bag mailer.  Shipping was reasonable and it made it here in under 3 weeks!

The watch features an oversized face with a couple of springs for that extra manly look.  There were no instructions included in the packaging but it’s just one knob to set, same as any other watch.  The strap is silicone and it uses quartz movement in the dial.

As you can see my husband has fairly small wrists but it still looks good and worst case scenario he can use it as a weapon since the face is pretty heavy.  It’s not going to last forever but as a fashion watch, it’ll be good enough to make it to out of style. You can get yours here.

Home Made Luxe Craft Subscription November 2017

Home Made Luxe is a monthly box that sends out everything you need to make a Pinterest worthy home decor craft for your house.  They include step-by-step instructions and there is a link to a video that also walks you through them.  Boxes start at $29.99 plus shipping and do go down with longer terms.  I signed up for this one way back on Mother’s Day during the CrateJoy sale and scored it for 50% off.  I am always looking for new craft boxes and ideas and these ones are a little different from what I’ve received before.  I have a big stack of these to get through but all the delays in reviewing them are mine and have nothing to do with any shipping issues or problems getting boxes.  They do provide shipping notices and often they send out surveys to see what craft you want to see in the next month’s box.

The box was nicely wrapped inside and all the items were safely packaged.

The instruction booklet gives you an overview of the project and then step by step instructions to complete it.  It also has a Thank You from the founder and a code to get a discount on another box.

The craft is a DIY Burlap Wreath.  This is very cute and since it did arrive near the beginning of Winter it would make a perfect decoration for your door.  You have to tie all the strips around the form and then add the decorations as finishing touches.

There was no bonus craft this month but Ièm not upset about it as the main craft is pretty awesome. I have been very happy with all the boxes I’ve received since the first one that made me question why I had signed up for this.  They have been providing me with tool and crafts that I would never reach out to myself and I’m excited to get these all made up.

Bitchy Box TOM January 2018

Bitchy Box is a TOM box with a difference.  They don’t provide feminine hygiene items, but instead items to help you get through that time of the month.  They will fill the box with a variety of sweet treats, salty snacks, and handpicked gifts.  They endeavor to make sure you don’t stab anyone while you are riding some fun hormonal shifts.  They have 3,6, or 12-month plans available, starting at $66.00, plus shipping to Canada.  I had seen some other people’s boxes from them and thought they looked fun so I’m trying them out.

Things were a little different this month.  The box felt very light and when I opened it, the info booklet was not on the top as normal.

The booklet ended up being at the bottom of the pile.  It has the normal list of items on the front, recipes in the middle, and social media on the back.  There was also a little note tucked in saying there was an item missing that they felt the could no longer wait for and that it will ship out next month.

Harebrained “Redrum” Period Panties-$12.99

I have to admit I don’t know this pop culture reference.  They are still a fun pair of panties and have all the benefits of the Harebrained line.  I’m still holding out for the Doctor Who ones though.

Emergency Chocolate Bar-$?

This is a milk chocolate bar, wrapped in a custom wrapper.  They recommend keeping this for those days you are going to take an axe to something.

Penguin Exfoliating Face Mask-$1.25

I love these!!! Any of the masks that have a pattern on them are so fun.  This one has dead sea salts to help refresh tired Winter skin.  I can’t wait to get this on and terrify my husband.

Popcornopolis Nearly Naked Popcorn-$0.30

Popcorn is one of my stuck on an island foods.  This bag is just popcorn and salt and is going to be a delicious snack.  It happens to also be low in calories but that’s just a bonus at this point.

Workout Dice-$3.00

They gave us this because it is January and most of us ha probably made a few (failed) resolutions.  This is a soft foam dice that have different workout options on each side.  It also has one side that is a water break so it’s not all horrible.

This month had another great selection of things.  The item that is missing is a pair of knitted fingerless gloves.  I think that they really nailed the theme of Crab-In Fever this month!  Everything in the box is made to make you feel better and less worked up about things that may go on for this time of the month.  I am not bothering with a value this month as half the box I can’t possibly price.  It’s enough to know that I’m happy and love everything!
