Love With Food is a monthly subscription box that sends out organic, all-natural, or gluten free snacks. They want to help you to “Snack smart and Do good.” They donate a portion of their proceeds to organizations that help end child hunger. They offer three box types but only two are available in Canada. You can get the Deluxe box or the Gluten Free box, starting at $16.50 a month. Shipping right now is $3.99 a month since they just opened up international shipping. If you really like your coworkers they have an office box for $99. You’ll get 16-20 snacks a month, meals given to children, and points earned to redeem for boxes or snacks. I love getting snacks in the mail and to find ones that won’t completely destroy my weight loss attempts is a good thing. I’ve been watching this one for a while and was so glad they now ship to Canada. Let’s open it up and see if the wait was worth it.
The box arrived safely and hopefully full of goodies!
The theme this month is “Be The Change”. They want you to find one small thing that you’d like to change and just go ahead and do it. The snacks for this month are all-natural and hopefully changing the way snacking happens.
180 Snacks Almond Pops with Blueberries and Almond Rice Pops with Mange
These look like they are going to be amazing! They are little clusters of almonds, rice, and fruits that are baked until crunchy.
Sensible Foods Apple Harvest Crunch Dried Fruit
I have had something similar to these before and really liked them. They have a different texture than you would expect and it makes them delicious.
Crown Nut Co. Maple Bacon Flavored Almonds
I’m not sure this could get much better. Almonds are great, bacon is great, and the addition of maple can only make it better.
Ginny Bakes Organics Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are gluten free and obviously organic. It’s a great sized snack and it’s hard to mess up a chocolate chip cookie.
Wonder Well Water with Peach
The only ingredients in this are water and flavour. We always need juice boxes for Bug’s lunch so this will get used up that way.
Dang Toasted Coconut Chips
Both of these bags are Salted Cacao flavoured. I would like them better if they were plain toasted coconut. I’m sure these will be tasty though and a much better choice for a chocolate fix than some other options.
The GFB Dark Chocolate Coconut Balls
These are a soft ball made from dates and covered in coconut. They are a super concentrated form of energy snack and give you 100 calories per package.
Artisan Tropic Plantain Strips
I have never had a plantain strip before, I wonder if they are like banana chips? These are seasoned with sea salt and I’m hoping they will be good.
Kitchen Crafted Sprd
This is a mayo type condiment that is Creole Kicker flavoured. It’s probably really good in a BLT. I am okay with things that are a little spicy so I’m hoping this fits that instead of being crazy hot.
Loacker Milk Chocolate Bar
Does this not totally look like a Kinder ripoff to you???? It has a cream filling and wafers and the pail of milk on the package. I love Kinder so this seems like a win.
Kashi Chewy Nut Butter Bar
I’ve had other Kashi bars but haven’t even seen this type before. It also sounds delicious, kinda like most of the items this month. All bars like this end up in my desk to handle the hunger attacks that hit in the afternoon.
Surf Sweets Organic Fruity Bears
These gummies have no artificial colours and flavours. They also appear to be coated in sugar, making them my favourite type of gummy. There are only five in each bag so the chance of me eating both in one go.
I am so happy to be getting this box and finding snacks that are at least in the realm of better for me. They have great shipping notices and the boxes come wrapped in plastic so no one can peek in and nab your snacks. I’m also glad to be caught up in my reviews!
This seems like a good subscription! So many yummy but healthy goodies!
