Love With Food is a monthly subscription box that sends out organic, all-natural, or gluten free snacks. They want to help you to “Snack smart and Do good.” They donate a portion of their proceeds to organizations that help end child hunger. They offer three box types but only two are available in Canada. You can get the Deluxe box or the Gluten Free box, starting at $16.50 a month. Shipping right now is $3.99 a month since they just opened up international shipping. If you really like your coworkers they have an office box for $99. You’ll get 16-20 snacks a month, meals given to children, and points earned to redeem for boxes or snacks. I love getting snacks in the mail and to find ones that won’t completely destroy my weight loss attempts is a good thing. I’ve been watching this one for a while and was so glad they now ship to Canada. Let’s open it up and see if the wait was worth it.
I take the picture after but the box comes wrapped in plastic so it’s protected. Inside t is as full as ever.
The theme for March is Happy Go Lucky. They say they want to encourage us to worry less and smile more, helped by the snacks in the box.
Hippeas Organic Chickpea Puffs
These are a white cheddar flavoured bag of things that look like Cheetos but are made from chickpeas. White cheddar is not one of my go-to flavours but these are probably good. They are gluten-free, kosher, vegan, and non-GMO.
Tasty Organic Emoji-Shaped Chocolate Cookies
Well, how can you go wrong with a cookie? There are six face shapes in the bag and I can’t wait to eat them all!
Wise Popcorn x 2
I love popcorn. I would eat it all the time if that was an option. These are sea salt flavoured, which is great. They don’t have a bunch of calories per bag either.
Ruger 2 Wafer Waffles
I have no idea what these are but it looks like a waffle shaped version of these wafer stick cookies. They have a vanilla cream filling and I think I might just eat these now.
18 Rabbits Date, Pecan, & Coconut Bar
This is a very dense feeling bar. It has a combination of good things and no refined sugars. It is a little high in calories but I think it’s probably filling so it balances out.
Enstrom Almond Toffee x 2
These are a milk chocolate version of this. It feels hard and crunchy inside the package. I like all of the things in this so I’m sure I will enjoy these.
Chocolatreie Monbana Chocolat Salon De The x 2
In tiny little letters, it says this is a traditional chocolate drink. I think it’s just hot chocolate really. It’s not the right season here for me to be craving hot chocolate so these will live in the cupboard for a bit.
Route 11 Potato Chips
Ooooooo….. dill pickle chips! Nice. This is a rather tiny bag of them but they are kettle cooked and have no trans fats.
Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities
These look like Starburst chews. They are organic and have more enlightened flavours like blood orange and honey.
Wild Garden Snack Box to Go
This is a box containing veggie chips, which I love, and hummus, which I hate. I think I’ll pull the chips out and toss the dip. It’s a great idea though for people who like both of them.
There are two types of little loose candies in the box. There are three Espresso Candy and two Treehugger Bubble Gums. I can’t see myself eating the coffee flavoured ones but I love the gum.
I am so happy to be getting this box and finding snacks that are at least in the realm of better for me. They have great shipping notices and the boxes come wrapped in plastic so no one can peek in and nab your snacks. I’m also glad to be caught up in my reviews!
