Curiosity Box is a Canadian monthly subscription that sends out craft and activity boxes for children 3-7. They hope to inspire curiosity and creativity in kids and help families have quality time together. You can buy single boxes or 3,6, or 12-monthplans. You can also get Curiosity Kits that are made for birthday parties, homeschooling or daycare groups. Single boxes start at $26.55 and plans begin at $26.50/month and go down with longer subscriptions. Shipping within Canada is included! In the monthly plans, they include, in the months published, a copy of Parent’s Canada magazine. I had been looking to replace the craft one I was getting for Bug so finding one and a Canadian one to boot is awesome!
The box felt light this month but once I opened it up I could see there were plenty of crafts, they were simply made of paper.
The fold out instructions has everything you need to know about how to complete the crafts plus, other activities and facts about the theme, Love Bug.
Ladybug Valentine Mailbox Craft Kit
You need the mailbox, craft kit, and glue dots to make this one. It can be used to hold Valentines or any other small treasures that children seem to collect without even trying. All of the pieces are self-adhesive so the girls will have fun decorating this up and not need much help at all.
Craft Roll Love Bug Craft
This one uses glue, the roll, and the craft kit to make what might be the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while. There is only a small part that you need to use the liquid glue for so again the girls can work alone. So cute!!!
Caterpillar Sign Craft Kit
You just need the kit for this one as everything is self-adhesive and goes together that way. I think this one will be a favourite because it has lots of parts and things to put together and make a fun little guy.
Ladybug Tic Tac Toe
Once again you need the glue to go with this kit. We have actually received this in out previous craft subscription but Bug is excited to make it again and she has been super into tic tac toe for the last two months so this is great.
The extra bits in the box this month are a slinky, whistle, valentine, sticky hand, and crayons and book. They can be handed out as rewards for good behaviour!
Bug loves this box. She loves this kind of craft, and I like that most are simple and quick enough to do before bed or supper. The crafts seem to be coming from Oriental Trading and I’m fine with that because I would totally be ordering from there myself if I could figure out hat to do with the 17 other packages of the same crafts you need to buy at once. The instructions are clear and the additional activities don’t require crazy supplies no one would have. I am grateful to find any Canadian boxes and am glad to support them. If you want to join this one, send me a message and I can give you a code for a discount off a 3 month plan.
