Teacher’s Black Box is a box of items which will include “basic and innovative supplies to enhance their educational impact”. Now I am not a teacher but if you put a chance to get stationery in front of me, there’s only a small chance I’ll turn it down. They also say there will be a snack in every box. Boxes start at $20.00 but go down with longer terms. Normally the shipping on this one would have stopped me from ordering but they were offering a promo code “ONETIME” that gave you free shipping on orders over $50. That code is still valid so make sure you use it if you want to sign up. Let’s see what joy they have delivered to me today.
Have I mentioned before how much I hate these paper packing bits?? These ones are worse then normal actually because they are made from shredded tissue paper instead of regular paper. Okay….moving on….I could see a few things that looked interesting from this peek. There is not an info card included so you just have to go by what you see.
The first thing out was this Brown Glitter Tape. As you can see the paper is stuck all over the side of the tape. That won’t affect the use but it’s just annoying. This is a fancy washi tape and I use washi on letters and this one will be good for decorating as well.
This is cool. It is double sided tape but it’s like MacTac and removable. The girls are starting to enjoy having posters on their walls so this will come in handy.
They promise a snack in each box and here it is. I enjoy fruit snacks and these will go in my snack bag to fill my lunch kit.
I was just thinking at work the other day that I needed magnets or some type of clip to hold papers in my cubical and now these have shown up. Taking them to work tomorrow.
As October was Breast Cancer Awareness month there was a few things to reflect that. We have a whistle, which I don’t know that I’ll use often but it’s good to have around. A pen on a rope, not my best choice of options but I can see how for an actual teacher it would be handy. There are also two Papermate click pens, still pink for awareness.
There is a paper fan for Breast Cancer as well. I will give this to the girls and have it be destroyed within a day. They are too vicious with things like this but boy do they love them!
OMG! Another perfect hook for my needs! This has a super powerful magnet on the back and it’ll hold a fair degree of weight with no problems.
Last out of the box were these two breast cancer bracelets. I don’t wear these type of bracelets but the girls will enjoy them as well.
I think this box was better than my first. I can see how these things would be useful for a teacher and they also work well for those of us who love these things. I’m not sure how any of these particular items are innovative but maybe I’m missing that part of it. You can find this box on CrateJoy if you are interested.
