House Box is a Canadian bi-monthly subscription box that sends you 5 or more assorted home product samples. Plans start at $21.95 but do go down with longer plans and shipping is $9.95. Taxes are included in the pricing. The site says you can review your products and shape future boxes but so far I can’t figure out how to make that happen. The items included are Canadian companies too! After you have tried them out you can purchase the full sized version from the website or they have links direct to the companies. Let’s see what was inside this month.
This is a small box but it always has interesting things in it. The first peek left me curious.
As you can see this is box number seven for them. The theme is Welcome To Fall. The back of the card tells you all about the items they found to help you out this time.
Fox Run Brands Pumpkin Cookie Cutter-$3.50
I have no idea what is going on with this image. I keep flipping it and then it goes back to being sideways. I don’t do much Halloween cookie baking but this will join a rather large cutter collection.
Arbonne Sample Collection
There was a whole bag of goodies from Arbonne in the box this month. We have a Protein Shake, Fizz Stick, Fit Chew, and Pure Vibrance Hair Serum. I have not used any of these and honestly, I thought the chew was just a piece of candy, not an appetite suppressant. I’m kinda off shakes right now but I’m sure it’ll get used eventually. The drink mix will go to work and disappear quickly. I can use the hair serum all the time.
The Laundry Tarts Pumpkin Spice Laundry Tablets-113g $1.90
This is the oddest thing I have ever received in a box…..pumpkin pie scented laundry soap. This package is good for 2-8 loads depending on the size. This soap is very earth and people friendly and made in Canada.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts-15g $0.46
I have had these before and they are delicious. I add them to smoothies and sprinkle them over salads. They are an easy way to add protein to your meal.
Herbal Healing Lipbalm-$6.50
I got the lemon one but there were two other possibilities. There are made with 100% natural ingredients. They also sent a 15% discount code. This balm feels nice on my lips and I like the faint lemon scent.
I am very happy with this box. This months has a value of $12.36 plus the Arbonne items, which is really low. There was a mix of all sorts of items for the home and with them all being Canadian it’s a bunch of good finds. I have been on a mission to find more Canadian boxes since the exchange rate is so crappy right now and I’m glad to have found this one. The boxes have been consistently good, I wish they did a monthly box. If you want to sign up let me know and I can send you a link!
