Super Geek Box is a monthly subscription that sends out Geek and Gamer gear. You always get a shirt but everything else is up in the air. You could get Funkos or Dorbz, keychains, posters, or stickers. Every month has a theme that the items are based on so it changes up all the time. Boxes start at $13.92 plus $13.00 shipping a month but go down with longer plans. All plans automatically renew so you do need to be careful if you want to cancel. I’ve resisted getting too deep into the geek boxes just because there are so many and trying to pick is pretty difficult. All of them are really varied and from looking at past boxes I decided to give Super Geek Box a try. This month’s theme is Rumble.
The box is very noticable when it’s sitting on my stoop. Opening it up I can see Luigi!
They have a tri-fold info sheet that lets you know what you received and what the options were for any items that could be different.
Nintendo Luigi Plush
This is one where you could have received either Mario or Luigi. I’m okay with Luigi, you know the second brother is always best! He’s cute and more that likely will go to the girls but he also might look good next to Donkey Kong.
Nerdcre8 SGB Exclusive Star Rod Ribbon Necklace
This lanyard is awesome! I’ve been using the lightsabre one from a few boxes ago but this is more my style.
Titanfits SGB Exclusive Combo Breaker Bracelet
There was a blue and a red option and they have the direction symbols on them that would give you the power move in a game.
SGB Exclusive Digital Classic Laser Cut Vinyl
This guy is cute. I’m not too sure where I will stick him but he may just go into a letter to a penpal. He’s just the black part the rest is protective paper.
SGB Exclusive Like A Bowse Magnet
This is freakin’ awesome! I love this magnet and it may come to work with me to adorn my cubical. Mario is one of my favourite things so anything relating to it makes me happy.
SGB Exclusive Rest In Peace T-Shirt
It’s cute and I like it. Nothing is going to beat last months I don’t think but this one is still fun. The shirts are good quality and I’ve found most of them to be witty and wonderful.
This month was pretty good overall. There were lots of items from things I like and it’s only the bracelet that is not for me. The big gamble with the geek boxes is if you get a theme for something you are not a fan of, the whole box can be a letdown. Next month’s theme is Darkness, and they are promising a Halloween theme and some wearables beyond the shirt.
