Love With Food is a monthly subscription box that sends out organic, all-natural, or gluten free snacks. They want to help you to “Snack smart and Do good.” They donate a portion of their proceeds to organizations that help end child hunger. They offer three box types but only two are available in Canada. You can get the Deluxe box or the Gluten Free box, starting at $16.50 a month. Shipping right now is $3.99 a month since they just opened up international shipping. If you really like your coworkers they have an office box for $99. You’ll get 16-20 snacks a month, meals given to children, and points earned to redeem for boxes or snacks. I love getting snacks in the mail and to find ones that won’t completely destroy my weight loss attempts is a good thing. I’ve been watching this one for a while and was so glad they now ship to Canada. Let’s open it up and see if the wait was worth it.
The box was just as full as the last one. It seems to be another mix of big and small snacks.
They have a little card in there that’ reminds you to go to their site to review and earn points.
Janis & Melanie Original Cheese Straws
I don’t eat cheese straws often because I will lose control and devour them until I’m overstuffed. It’s a god thing these come prepackaged.
The Daily Crave Lentil Chips
White cheddar flavour anything is not a huge hit with me. I have had lentil chips before and they are okay.
Homeplate Honey Peanut Butter
I guess this takes the hassle out of having to spread two things on your toast. At least it’s not powdered like last months offering.
Cosmos Creations Caramel Apple Crisp Popped Corn x 2
Love anything popcorn and this flavour I’m all about. Sometimes I wish these packages gave me more than a taste.
Laughing Giraffe Organics Snakaroon x 2
I received both a vanilla and a chocolate. It is a coconut snack that feels from outside the package just like a macaroon.
Lance Sandwich Crackers
These are another of those things I’ll eat a whole package of once they are open. I blame my parents for never allowing me to have any when I was growing up. I think these might be the first thing I eat.
Cave Man Nutrition Bar
This one is dark chocolate cherry nut and sounds great. It is dairy, gluten, and peanut free. As it says, it is also Paleo inspired.
Janis & Melanie Key Lime Cookies
This package is very heavy so these must be dense cookies. I like cookies and will be eating them up shortly.
Oregon Chai Latte Mix x 2
These will come to work with me and be had there. I like chai lattes and have found that most powdered mixes taste as good as the ones you buy ready made.
Black Forest Organic Gummy Cherries x 2
Gummy candies are another of my weaknesses. I just love sugar and sweets and that is why I’ve been having such a hard time with my diet. This whole package is about 300 calories so if I can keep it to a portion at a time it’s not a bad snack to have.
Go Organic Hard Candy x 3
I got two strawberry and one watermelon flavoured candies. Hard candies are probably something I should work more of into my life since they might get me through the sugar cravings
My second box gave me even more things I love to eat. I am so happy to be getting this box and finding snacks that are at least in the realm of better for me. They have great shipping notices and the boxes come wrapped in plastic so no one can peek in and nab your snacks.
