LuxePineapple is a website that offers makeup and skincare items. They also have what they call the Box Of Joy, which is not a subscription but rather a collection they put together every month. They switch up the themes and while they do list all the items included it is still a fun box. They do call them a Glossary Box as well, not to be confused with GlossyBox though. Boxes range from $17-$20 and shipping to Canada is $6.00.
The box shipped in a plain bubble mailer and inside was this lovely package. This box is the Weekend Essentials one.
They also included a handwritten thank you note, which is such a nice touch.
There is an info card included and on the front is a quote by Leonardo Da Vinci. The back has all the items listed with prices and just a few lines about each of them.
Opening the box gave me nothing! Damn well wrapped surprises.
Love Knot From Pieces To Peaces by Danielle Hale-$9.99 x 2
These are really comfortable. They are just on the tight side but I know they will stretch with use. They are machine washable and should give lots of use to me. They have a nice wide band that doesn’t dig in and the knot also isn’t pushing into the top of my head.
Dermadeli Lavish Lip Collagen Serum-$28.99
This serum goes on like a gloss. It promises to make your lips feel smoother, fuller, and more firm. It feels cool going on and is really sticky until it dries and then it’s okay but you can’t rub your lips together because they don’t slide on each other. I’m not sure how fuller my lips will get but I’ll give it a try and hope for the best.
LuxePineapple Collection Luxe Blush in Valentine-$15.00
I can’t think of the last time I received a blush in a box and I’m so happy to have got one. This has a pearl finish and looks really natural on. All of their cosmetics are made in the USA and seem to be good quality. I’ll put this to use starting tomorrow.
LuxePineapple Collection Luxe Eye Shadow in Enchant & Splendid-$8.00 each
These are not listed on the card so I guess they are bonus items. The pearl coloured one is super shimmery and will make a great base shade. The blue one is matte finish and not as dark as I thought it would be. They also say they do not test on animals, which is excellent.
Timeless Truth Bio Cellulose Hydra-Soothing Moisturising Mask-$1.20
This was also not listed. This package is very full of serum. It is a sheet mask, which have become one of my favourite things since getting boxes. This one promises to improve fine lines and wrinkles by hydrating the collagen fibres in your skin to make you glow. It was interesting to find anything out about it as the webpage was all in Chinese but thankfully Google Translate came through for me.
I enjoyed this box. The value was $81.17, which is four times what I paid for it. I have already ordered next months and they have sent out an email saying in April there will be a LuxePineapple Post so maybe there will be a regular subscription box offered up. I will keep checking the site and even if they don’t do one will buy these boxes as they become available. You can see things for yourself by clicking here.
