Rag Tag Box is a monthly craft and ephemera box. They include all sorts of things and a cross stitch project each month based on a theme that could be fun, scary, sci-fi, or movie related. They offer a few different options including paper crafts, stitchy mini, or full size and prices start at $15.00. They also have a shop online where you can buy projects or downloadable projects. I went for the full sized box. The theme for November was Killer Carni Clowns.
Everything was shipped in a pizza box and opening it up revealed a list of items and some tissue paper.
The cross stitch kit, all of which are designed by them, includes everything you need minus scissors. They even give you the hoop! As you can see it’s an angry clown surrounded by bloody cleavers. Maybe not the best for the kids rooms but I think at work this might send the correct hint. I’m so thrilled to get just this that the rest of the box is a bonus at this point.
Next out was a clown can koozie. I can’t even think of the last time I used one of these but since Xmas is coming maybe my brother needs this. It is fun.
No clown box would be complete without a red clown nose. The girls will get a kick out of playing with this.
We also have a killer clown colouring book. I just opened it to a random page to give you an idea of what’s inside. It has five pictures to colour and since I just bought myself a new set of pencil crayons I’m good to go.
That is one scary clown face on this popcorn bag. Not too sure what to do with this but I like it.
They also sent out two sheets of stickers. Stickers are always a good thing in our house.
So creepy!!! This is just a hard paper decoration. Once the girls are a bit older and not terrified I’ll use this for Halloween decorating.
This mixed up bunch includes another popcorn bag, non scary this time, two paper straws, a red gel pen, a multi coloured pencil crayon, 6′ of twine, and a carnival flag on a stick.
Another group of items included a bloody side show ticket decoration, one black balloon, a blood splatter balloon, and six tickets.
Lastly there was a killer clown necklace. I don’t know where to wear this but he’s more cute than scary. He has a little hatchet charm attached too. He’s made of wood with the image laminated on top.
There is no way I could value this box but I am pretty sure I’m going to love it! I had been looking for something crafty for myself since Embellished Boxes seem to have imploded and this is it. If you are thinking this may be something you’d like next month’s theme is Star Wars. You can visit their site by clicking here.
