Ipsy Glam Bag August 2015

Ipsy Glam Bag is a beauty subscription that comes in a pink bubble mailer. It is $10USD per month and includes deluxe samples and full sized products. All of your products come in a reusable makeup bag. This months theme is Prep School.  All Ipsy bags are selected for the individual person so there is a wide variety of products possible to receive, based on answers you give to a survey and your reviews of your bags. There are plenty of spoilers with this one and you can see exactly what you will be getting a few days before your bag arrives by logging in to your account.

The included card tells you nothing but the theme as decided by their stylists.

Doucce Ultra Precision Eye Liner in Black-$22.00

This seems like it’s full sized.  I don’t need another black eye liner but it does seem to be the favorite colour for them to send out.  This goes on really nicely and there is no pulling or tugging.  It does smear a little with rubbing but should last pretty good.

Eco-Beauty Good Night. Night Cream.-15g $12.00

I had received the day cream of this a while ago and I’ve almost used it all up by now.  There is a surprising amount of lotion in these tubes.  I’ve found you don’t need that much to cover your whole face either.  I do have the same complaint with this one as the day though……it smells yucky for something I need to put on my face.

Albertini Divine Skin Hydrator-30mL $1.78

This is a new one for me, a lotion you apply while you are still in the shower.  You use this right at the end and just give it a quick rinse before you hop out.  It doesn’t really have much of scent but is supposed to keep moisture in your skin for up to 24 hours.

Hikara Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Merlot-$13.00

This gloss is super shiny.  The colour is maybe just a touch dark for everyday wear but only just.  It doesn’t feel sticky at all and it gives good coverage, not too sheer.  I’ve received lots of Hikari products from my boxes and I have found them to be good.

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Elegantly Wasted-$13.23

This colour is good.  It is a lavender more than a lilac but I think that’s because it has some grey undertones.  This is a 5 free polish that is also vegan and cruelty free.  For some reason this is just under the regular sized bottle they sell since it’s 15mL compared to 17mL.  If you really like them and nail polish you can get a monthly subscription of 2 polishes a month from their website.

The bag this month is great too!  It looks like houndstooth but it’s textured plastic.   They seem to favour the zipper being on one side over the top but they are roomy and hold a lot.

This months bag has a value of $62.01. There were three full sized items this month and the rest are multiple use sizes. I’m not sure how they all go with the theme but then again I never really do.There is nothing this month I really dislike, just the smell of one item.  I can maybe limit items that I don’t like by completing the mini surveys about each one and it lets them know how I feel about the type of stuff they send out.   I’m still not super thrilled with the website changes but am learning to get around on it.  If you would like to get in on the bag I’d love it if you’d use my link.  You can also visit their website by clicking here.

The Beaver Box Summer 2015

The Beaver Box is a new box for me.  They are a quarterly Canadian women’s box that will include something fashion, food, beauty, and home, plus always a little extra!  They source as much as they can from their local area but do have items from all across Canada.  They try to pick seasonal items for each box and you never know what will be inside.  I was not expecting to get the Summer box, thinking I had subscribed too late and was waiting for the Autumn one when this one showed up. Boxes are $55.00 per quarter or you can get a yearly subscription for $200.00.  Let’s see what we got that is just for the Canadian woman.

20150728_092520 20150728_092539

Beaver Box comes in a plain white shipping box.  Inside that was a card listing a few of the companies included.  On the reverse is a listing of the actual items and websites to get them at.  There was a sheet of tissue wrapping everything up.

Toronto Popcorn Company Gourmet Popcorn in S’mores-300g $1.00

This must be a sampler size because the smallest size available on their website is 1.5qt which would be about 6 times this size.  I love popcorn……..it’s one of the foods I would pick if I could only eat a few things for the rest of my life.  I’m sure that this is delicious but I’m not opening it yet because I have a few movies DVR’d that I think I shall enjoy this with.

This scarf has no name on it and it is just listed as versatile scarf on the info card.  It is huge though, 5.5’x3′.  It is sheer but the colours are beautiful and it’s light and perfect for adding a layer.  It’s even big enough to be a wrap or a shawl.

Avril Loreti Modern Home Notebooks-$12.00/pair

These are a great little notebook.  They are unlined pages, 3.5x5in, 30 pages each.  I will be throwing these in my purse for notes or to keep the kidlets occupied in an emergency only (I hate sharing my stationery, hate).

Wulfhed Skin Care Body Scrub-70g

This body scrub is made with coffee, pink salt, and oils and it made in Montreal.  It is also vegan.  It smells strongly of the coffee but I’m sure it works great.  I can’t get a price on this one since their website is down.

HASinspiration Yoga Eye Pillow-$13.50

This is a flax seed and lavender pillow to help you relax and meditate.  You can also heat it up or freeze it to use as a cool pack for headaches.  I would give almost anything for 20 minutes of quiet to use this.  Maybe I can convince the Hubs to take the kids to the park for a bit one day.

20150728_092819 20150728_092840

Homestead House Milk Paint in Champlain-30g $6.00

This is one of the more bizarre things I’ve received in a box.  This is actual paint you just at water to and paint on.  It is good for both interior or exterior and is mold resistant.  it is non-toxic and has no VOC’s which is nice.  The sample they sent  will do about 10 square feet, so I need to find a small thing to paint to use it.

Well for my first box I’m happy!  They did cover all the categories promised, but beauty was only the scrub so it might have been just lacking.  I like that the companies are Canadian and that all of these items are available to me, which isn’t always the case.  The box had a value of $32.50 plus the scrub and scarf I couldn’t price out, which I think would get me up to the price paid.  Canadian boxes are not to common so I’m liking this one for the variety provided.  If you want to check them out click here.

WelliBox August 2015

WelliBox is a Canadian box focusing on healthy options.  It sends you 5-10 samples per month and you can choose your category from womens, mens, 50+, or performance.  Boxes are $10 per month, less with longer plans,  and you are promised $25 worth of products.  Since I’m trying to get healthier and lose some weight I thought it would be a good idea to get a box that might help me out.

This month was definitely heavier than last month. I was a bit shocked to find a whole mess of packets inside this time.

20150823_175605 20150823_175820

Klean Athlete Klean Recovery Powder-2×56.9g $2.13 Each

These pouches contain a source of carbs and protein to help you recover from your workout.  It also has amino acids to build muscle.  You mix it up in water, one pouch to 12oz.  It has no artificial flavours or sweeteners and contains non-GMO ingredients.  I don’t go to the gym……..I guess this could be just a shake?

20150823_175713 20150823_175801

Garden Of Life Raw Meal Replacement-7×73-83g $5.21

These are a meal replacement shake.  They sent out I guess a weeks worth of one meal.  I got one Cocoa Dream, three Au Natural, and three Vanilla Chai.  These are Certified Canadian Organic, give you protein, Vitamin C & A, Fibre, and Calcium.  They recommend that you prepare these in a blender and that you can mix with juice, water, almond or coconut milk.  I’m not too sure what would be the best tasting option.

Ener-C Effervescent Powdered Drink MIx-9.4g $0.29

I have liked all of the versions of this powder I’ve received.  This one should be like a Pina Colada and I’m intrigued by the effervescent part.

Silicea Direct Mineral Gel in Red Berries-15mL $1.04

This is a gel pouch you just shoot.  It is supposed to help with skin and nails and hair.  It’s freaking me out a bit because it feels really slimy.  It has good reviews online though so maybe it won’t be as bad as I think.

Lorna Vanderhaeghe Shapesmart-7g $1.37

This is another drink mix.  It’s Lemon Iced-Tea flavour, which is great and it is supposed to help increase your energy, burn fat and lose weight.   These drink pouches go straight to work with me and I mix them into my ever present water bottle.

This month has a value of $43.43, back over the promised value of $25.  While I’m glad to get a bunch of the main samples so I can really get a chance to try them out, I’m not big on the shake powders.  Most that I’ve tried never really dissolve entirely in the mix and I go not like that texture.  I use prices from Well.ca, where I would have get them if I wanted more, since there is nothing included to tell me otherwise. I like that I get to try out a bunch of supplements I mostly have never heard of and it gives me a chance to decide what I might need or should be taking.  I am still cautious with reading the labels since I do still breastfeed my little one and some of these things want you to discuss taking them with your doctor in that situation, but that is to be expected with any new supplements. The last few boxes have been really good and the supplements have long expiry dates making more likely I can finish them before they go bad.

Dive Bar Shirt Club August 2015

Dive Bar Shirt Club is a monthly subscription that sends out a limited edition t-shirt from a random bar every month.  Each shirt is only available for that month and then that’s it.  Their tag line is “T-shirts from the best bars you’ve never heard of”. Shirts are $22 a month unless you need XXL or XXXL sizes then add $2.50 and $3.50 respectively. Shipping outside of the USA is $5.  They are just a reoccurring subscription so you can cancel anytime before the next payment is due.  This has been a great find as Hubby looks forward to this one every month.  This is our last one of these shirts and now Hubs is after me to find him another thing but there is a serious lack of subs for men if you don’t care to get the gamer or geek boxes.  There are some clothing/accessories boxes for men but they seem to be more for the urban professional not the regular joe.

20150825_094144 20150825_094153

This month we are headed to the Highlife Lounge in Des Moines, IA.  They are a bar that celebrates the beers of the past and food to match.  They have been featured on “Man vs. Food” , which is a great show and they share a location with a place called el Bait Shop.  The inside looks like it has stayed the same since 1984 and honestly seems like my kind of bar.  Less of a dive and more of retro awesomeness.

Unfortunately the shirt is horrible!!!  It’s a pale yellow that very few men ever wear.  If this had been the first shirt we received instead of the last, I don’t think we’d have ever got another month.

This has been a fun subscription.  It was one of the first I got and with the exception of this last one, all were well received.   Hubs has liked the shirts and even the ones we got almost a year ago are still in great shape and not fading or having the images peel off.  The quality has been great and the shirts have held up and not stretched or shrunk at all.  I would recommend them to anyone who wants a fun shirt from a wide range of places. Check them out by clicking here.

Kiwi Crate July 2015

Kiwi Crate is a monthly craft and discovery box for children 3-12. They have recently expanded their options to boxes for specific ages or you can chose the regular one which is for all ages.  Kiwi crate is $19.95 a month but goes down with longer subscriptions.  I have seen plenty of deals out right now for them so I think you can even get lower pricing or free boxes if you search around. This month’s theme is Interesting Insects.  I always get the month’s box in the first little while of the next month so that’s why my posts are a bit late on these ones.

This month the theme is Lemonade Stand and the projects are My Shop Sign and My Cash Register.

I know I always talk about it but here is the back of the cover sheet with the cutouts and the sticker for your flow chart.

The Explore! magazine has bonus crafts, comics, stories, and facts to help you learn about the theme.

For My Shop Sign you get felt pieces, yarn, lemon handle, stencils, chalk, chalkboard, and an easel.  This one is low on the messiness scale, medium on the grownup involvement, and utilizes creating, exploring, and fine moving skills.  This one looks fun but I think that Bug will like just drawing on the chalkboard instead of making a sign.

With the My Cash Register project you get cardboard cutouts to make the register, a calculator, foam buttons, play money, and a set of game instructions and cards.  I’m not sure how with all those pieces but it’s low on the messiness scale, low on grownup involvement, and uses fine moving, discovering, and communicating skills.  Bug will love this one for now other reason then getting a new calculator.  She always takes mine and then I am left scrambling.

The good thing about these projects is that there is some learning with them, not just crafting. I’m not sure that Bug gets to much about the science but maybe she’s just absorbing things and will know them later. We only have a few more months on this one and then I’ll have to decide if we should keep it, get one of their newer more age appropriate ones, or switch to something different.

Embellished Boxes June 2015

Here is the second of my missing boxes.  This one arrived all taped together with Mays in one large package.  I’m just glad they were able to still have enough of the parts leftover to make me up one.

Embellished Boxes is a monthly box that sends you what you need to create two crafts. They focus on using items that you have around your home or that are inexpensive to purchase.  You get instructions and everything you need to complete the two projects. Subscriptions are $16.05 a month including shipping.  Even better is that Embellished is a Canadian company.  I have not been disappointed in any of the projects they’ve sent me so far, even if I have not had the best luck in creating the projects.  That’s nothing on them though, it’s more my lack of ability in some crafting skills.

20150728_093027 20150728_093059

Again the packaging is nice.  Inside the wrapping is all you need.

20150728_093122 20150728_093136

This month there is the materials list along with the instructions.  I will be making a Keyhook and Jute Coasters.

For the keyhook they included a canvas, black paint, and hooks.  You need to add your own hook for hanging and find some chalk to add a design if you want.  This one is fairly simple and much need in our house .

The jute coasters require mod podge, a roll of jute, and the cork coasters.  You smear on a layer of podge, coil the jute then coat the whole thing in podge again.  These are cute and while they will take me a bit longer to complete they are still an evening project.

I swear I’m going to get these done……soon……this year……..I just have to sit down and get to it.

Embellished Boxes May 2015

The date on this one is right.  This box was very, very, very late.  I had received an email in May saying that my box was one of a group that was lost in shipping so they were sending out a replacement.  After a few weeks of still not getting anything I emailed them.  I got no response.  A few weeks later I emailed them again asking what had happened to my box and by now I was missing the June box as well.  This time I got a response apologizing for the delay in replying and saying that after looking into my account somehow my name was taken off their list.  They said they would be sending them out and to apologize they would be giving me a free month. So on that note here is May.

They do come nicely wrapped inside and all the parts are normally individually wrapped as well.

20150728_093358 20150728_093407

The card is a bit messed up because it was taped to the lid and I ripped it off to take pictures.  The crafts this month are Multi Use Mini Jar and Hand Painted Napkin Rings.

The jar project comes with a jar (wow), some string trims, and votive wrap, which seems to be a self adhesive paper.  The jar is pretty by itself but I think this will be a nice easy project and them I can have a cute pen holder for my desk.

For the napkin rings you get a length of bendable wood that has adhesive built in and paint for decorating.  You just iron the edge of the wood where you join it and it sticks.  I am so not creative with painting so these might be a bit plain when done.  I need more painting skills.

You would think that with a lag of getting boxes I’d have got some crafts done…..you’d be wrong.  I have a nice little stack of these waiting for me and once winter gets here I’m so getting these done.

Look Fantastic Beauty Box August 2015

Look Fantastic Beauty Box is a newer box from the UK and you will receive a minimum of six products.   Those products will be an assortment of skin, hair, cosmetic and body products.  There also are sometimes high value surprises added to a few boxes randomly.  They promise to have a much higher value than what you pay each month as well.  They have free worldwide delivery on the boxes or things you order from the website. Boxes are $28 a month but go down with 3,6 or 12 month subscriptions.  Shipping was pretty quick for overseas and I received tracking notices as well.  The stuff I’ve been getting in this box has been really nice.  This one was a find.

If you can see anything I received in this box from the first look you must have x-ray vision.  Just a card and some squiggles.

20150820_134647 20150820_134657

The card folds out and tells you all about what you received.  They also have a little blurb saying next month is their birthday and to be prepared to be spoilt.

bellapierre Cosmetics Shimmer Powder-$14.99 Full Size

This is a superfine mica powder that can be used for highlighting or shadow.  It’s really sparkly and I don’t know that I would want to use more of it them what fits on my eyelid at once but I like it!  There is barely any colour once you apply it lightly so you are left with just that shine.

20150820_134755 20150820_134810

Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary Mist

So I thought this was a perfume sample…..turns out it’s a face spray.  You spritz yourself to refresh your skin and lift your spirits.  It’s a toner.  You can use it mid-day to give yourself a boost or after cleansing as a regular toner.  It is scented with neroli and rose. There is no size on this sample but a full bottle will set you back $90.00.

Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream-25mL $8.50

This is a leave-in hair perfector.  It is supposed to add moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, UV protection, manageability, strength, anti-breakage, heat protection, and light hold.  You put it in after towel drying your hair and I’m guessing then a team of stylists magically appear and make you hair fantastic.  It doesn’t smell all that great for something I need to walk around in.

Beauty Works 10-In-1 Miracle Spray-50mL $4.78

I guess they figure your hair needs help in August so they’ve given another hair rescue item.  You would think this is a spray like a a hairspray but it’s almost a lotion that comes out in spray form.  It can be used like a detangler or a styler on dry hair.  It is full of super oils and basically has the same list of benefits as the one above.  Smells much better though.

Rimmel London Wonder’Full Wake Me Up Mascara-$6.98 Full Size

They had four different Rimmel products that they sent out.  Three were mascaras and one was a lip product.  I have never used their mascara so I am looking forward to it.  It is black which is wonderful and I know it’ll be great.

20150820_134720 20150820_134919

Eve Lom Cleanser 30mL $44.20

So this is super expensive cleanser.  You use it with the woven muslin cloth (which they thankfully included) and it removes dirt and impurities and exfoliates.  I don’t think you need much at all each use because it spreads out really easily.  This will be interesting to try and see if it makes any difference.

This month had a value of $79.45, which is awesome!  This month was a good mix again with makeup, hair and face.  I can’t wait to see what fun they send next month and have yet to be disappointed with what I find in here.

Little Life Box August 2015

Little Life Box is a monthly shipment of items that help you to try out items so you can try out healthier or alternative versions of things you use or eat everyday.  You will get up to a dozen items each month and they promise to never ship you the same item twice, though you may get a different flavour of the same item.  They are a Canadian company as well so that’s nice too.  Subscriptions will run you  $19.95 a month or less with longer plans.  They offer a purely Vegan option as well.  I went with their original box since I don’t have a preference towards vegan items. I have found that these boxes are stuffed full!

20150818_155200 20150818_155215

The box is beautiful inside, as always.  There is a post card and seasonal wrapping.  Under all that I found some food off the bat.

I Heart Keenwah Quinoa Puffs-2x43g $2.97 each

There were two flavours included this month, Aged Cheddar and Herbes De Provence.  I have discovered I’m not a huge quinoa fan, when it’s just quinoa but once you make it a chip or in this case a puff, I enjoy them.  I like getting these snack sized bags since if I open a big bag of chips I’ll eat a ton but one of these bags is enough.

Free For All Kitchen Gluten Free Brownie Thins-2x28g $1.00 each

Well these just look great.  Crispy chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt on top?  Yes please!!  I don’t have a gluten issue and think most companies are pandering to a fad that has been proven to be unhealthy if you don’t have an actual diagnosed gluten allergy however none of that will stop me from eating these and probably enjoying every last crumb.

Four o’Clock Teas 2x2pk $0.24 each

I have received a few different Four O’Clock teas before from them and they are good.  Inside each was a Chocolate Spice and a Green Tea Chai.  Also these is a $0.50 coupon for the next time you buy them.  They are only sold in one store here in town and I never shop there so it’s a bit of a lost one for me.

Solo Energy Apple Cinnamon With Quinoa Bar-50g $2.69

This energy bar packs 10g of protein and 3g of fibre into a yogurt coated, gluten-free soft bar.  They say this is going to taste like a slice of apple pie so I’m saving this for my evening snack.

Ethical Bean Rocket Fuel Coffee-70g $2.67

That’s an approximate weight and price on this one because there is nothing listed so I weighed it package and all to get 70g.  This is a French Roast ground coffee  and it’s listed as a dark roast with a cocoa finish.  I only drink coffee if it comes frozen or mixed into a latte so hopefully Hubby likes this.  If not I’ll just take it to work and it’ll get used up there.

Arome Oils Hand Lotion in Hawaiian Breeze-14g $$0.75

This lotion smells OMG good!!  It’s just floral but the other underlying scents are a mystery to me.  It’s made with shea butter, sunflower seed oil, and avocado oil plus natural ingredients. It’s not greasy at all and I honestly cannot stop smelling my hands.  It’s not horribly expensive and they have lots of scents so I may have to order some directly.

Mediterra Pistachio & Honey Sesame Energy Bar-37g $2.00

So this started off sounding like something I wanted to devour and then I got to the sesame part…….I will eat sesame seeds in things or on buns but a whole bar made up of them topped with deliciousness doesn’t sound like my cup of tea.  I guess I’ll give it a try and the dog will eat the rest if I hate it.

Tasty Bite Kung Pao Noodles-250g $3.34

These are a vegan, MSG free, Kosher, and preservative free noodle side dish.  You cook them in the microwave right in the bag and serve.  After reading the ingredients there doesn’t seem to be anything odd in there.  The only issue is how spicy they might be.  It says Zesty, which is a touch ambiguous.

Tolan Skincare Foam Cleanser-50mL $7.14

This is a Canadian(yay) company that makes all natural products.  I received the foam cleanser for your face but they have haircare, face and foot care products as well.  This one is paraben free, hypo-allergenic, has no artificial preservatives, fragrances, perfumes or colour and they do no animal testing.  All of their line is BOGO for the month of August as well.  The pump foams it up it seems to work well to remove makeup.  I’m almost at the bottom of my current cleanser so this shall slide into it’s place.

August’s box had 14 samples in it.  However four of those were teabags.  The value was $27.49 which is not the highest it’s been but still okay.  I like this box and have found a bunch of things I would never have bought that either work really well or taste good.  I tended to dismiss most products like this out of hand as not good or too tree huggerish so I’m pleasantly surprised with the items.

e.l.f. Summer Break Beauty Bundle 2015

e.l.f. Beauty Bundle is a makeup box that ships every 8 weeks.  They ship out a variety of makeup and brushes from their own lines.  They have an assortment of products based on a central theme for that box.  This months bundle theme was the Refreshing New Year Bundle. The box starts at $19.99 every other month and promises to ship at least double that in the value of products.  It ships in a black box with their logo on it and looks good. All products are full sized as well. This one comes in a branded box with a drawstring bag inside with all your goodies.

20150818_140348 20150818_140357

This is how this box comes.  All packed up in pink and black looking sexy.  There was no info card but it does have a packing slip so you know what you got.

Shine Eraser Oil Blotting Sheets-$1.00

I keep a pack of these in my purse all the time so getting some more is fine by me.  This is a pack of 50 and also have green tea extract to help your skin as you blot.

Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black-2.00

This has a tip like liquid liner but is more of a marker in application.  I struggle woth liquid liners but think I could manage this one.  Once it dried it was completely smudge proof, even rubbing didn’t move it.  I could learn to like this one!

Smudge Pot in Gotta Glow-$2.00

They say this can be a shadow or a liner but I just use them as eyeshadow.  This one is gold coloured and has a ton of shimmer.  Once you blend it in though all you really get is the shine with just a touch of colour behind it.

Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Tiki Torches-$2.00

Okay so this might become my new favorite lip product.  It is a barely there orange with gold shimmer and I love it.  It also has vitamin E and grape to keep your lips soft.  I keep rubbing my lips together and it’s nice.  I would buy more of these in multiple colours.

Pressed Mineral Bronzer in Baked Peach-$5.00

I’m not really sure how this is a bronzer.  It has no real undertones of bronze or tan.  It’s also a little light to even be a blush.  It goes on looking almost white.  I’ll have to play with it a bit to see how I can make it work.

Waterproof Mascara Top Coat in Clear-$3.00

This is a clear mascara that you put on top of your regular mascara to make it waterproof.  That’s a neat idea and while I almost never wear waterproof mascara, swimming lesson are starting again soon and this will be useful to toss on after work before hitting the pool so I don’t have to worry about looking like Alice Cooper halfway through.

Eye Refresh in Clear-$3.00

Ooooooooohhhhh……this feels nice………It rolls on your undereye area cool and is supposed to help with puffiness and dark circles.  You can use it over or under makeup anytime of the day you want to.  It contains pomegranate, rosemary, green tea, cucumber and grape.  This is a keeper.

Matte Lip Color in Natural-$3.00

This is just a shade or two lighter then my natural lip colour so it is not a perfect match, however it looks good on.  For a matte  lip product it does not feel dry and I can even rub my lips together a few minutes afterwards with no friction.  I like their lip products a lot and this one is a great addition to my collection.

SPF20 Sunscreen Face Primer in Clear-$6.00

I’m currently using e.l.f. primer and now to have one that has SPF in it just makes it more awesome.  It has that sunscreen smell to it, which I think is great.  I’m so happy with this.

Makeup Remover Pen-$3.00

This is made to get rid of smudges or smears not your whole face of makeup.  I tried it out on that liner from above and just a couple of swipes and it was gone.  This will be great for those times when you blink at the wrong time or sneeze while holding a makeup item.

48 Piece Little Black Beauty Book Warm Edition-$6.00

This eyeshadow palette has a good mix of light, dark and shimmer shades.  It’s still a bit big to just have out even though it folds in half to actually look like a book.  The shades are ones that I would wear and that match the profile survey I filled out at the beginning of my subscription.

Makeup Lock & Seal-$3.00

This is used to increase the intensity of your makeup.  You pour a bit into the little pot and then dip the brush into it and them into your makeup before applying  You need to let it dry but once dry it holds your makeup in place longer than normal.  This seems like a great thing for special occasions where you need to look good for a while.

This month they fell short of their promised $40 value by $1.00.  This months box was really well put together and everything works well with each other.  This was my last box from them and all of them have been good..  There has been a great mix of items and brushes and facial products.  As I’ve mentioned before the shipping to Canada is really high, almost equal to the box price so that is a bit of a downer.  The shipping is actually the main reason I won’t be subscribing again.  I have been very happy with the products and will be buying them from stores if I need something.
