This week I am waiting for boxes as usual. I will hopefully be getting Little Life Box, Blush Box Teaser(though I’ve already sent them an email because that one is late), Topbox, Ipsy, Embellished Boxes, Birchbox, Doodlebug Busy Bag and BarkBox. If my luck is anything to go by I’ll get maybe three of those.
Kawaii Box is a monthly box of items selected from Japanese and Korean kawaii products. Kawaii means cute so everything is based on that premise. They ship anywhere in the world with free shipping and the box is $18.90 a month. This has quickly become one of my favorite boxes that I receive. It is full of things that no one really needs, but I’m always so thrilled to get. I cannot see me getting rid of this box anytime in the near future. I love this box and I haven’t been able to find stationary boxes that come close.
I get excited just peeking at what I can see around the card. I like that each month has a hand written note.
Diamond Travel Tag
I wish I travelled now so I could use this! It is made of PVC and the back has the cutout where you can see your contact info. The part that is a touch odd is that the strap is like a big hair tie elastic so I don’t know how practical that part might be.
Raccoon Key Chain
SO CUTE! I think they send out the best fuzzy little key chains. People look at me a little weird when they see my keys since I keep at least one of them on there at all times.
Plastic Cube Bracelet
As with most of the jewelry that has come in this box it goes straight to Bug. I don’t mind because so much of the other stuff in the box is useful to me.
Lollipop Hair Barrette
This is another one that will go to Bug but only just. I would actually wear this one but she saw it when I was unpacking the box so I guess she can have it…….
Teddy Bear House Mechanical Pencil
The picture is not the greatest but the pencil has roses and teddy bears in various states of play all over it. The depressor on top is a bear head on a cupcake. This came with lead and is refillable so I can use it over and over again.
Cupcake Eraser
Not much to say about an eraser but it’s cute and I will use it, mostly because I can’t spell worth a hoot.
Rubber Candy Keychain
This came in a little bag and when I opened it up it smelled like it was a joint. It still smells that way even after being out of the bag for a while so I don’t know what type of rubber this is made out of but I really don’t want to take it out of the house until it airs out. It’s really strong.
This is some type of DIY candy. There is no English on it anywhere. Judging from the pictures you mix up a pudding in one side of the tray and then the other side you dump candy sprinkles which you then dip the pudding into and eat. All of the candy I’ve got from this box has been good so I have high hopes for this too.
KitKat Bar
This one I am wary of. It could be a seaweed KitKat, which would be odd but edible. However I know there is a wasabi KitKat out there and that I don’t want. Maybe I’ll let Hubs try it first…..
Nostalgic Stickers
These stickers have a birthday theme. There are presents, cake, toys and lots of ones that say Happy Birthday. Stickers make me feel like I’m 12 again and I like using them.
Pencil Case
This is a smaller pencil case but since I have so many pens and pencils I can always use more. The back is just mesh so you can see in and the front is your standard plastic. I like the quote and even better like that it actually translated correctly since I’ve had a few items that maybe were a direct translation and didn’t work so well in English.
Panda Chopsticks
I have been using disposable chopsticks so now I have my own pair! I will use them for eating but they are nice and smooth and could totally be used as hair pins too.
As usual I like this box. The stuff is fun and cute and brings me happiness. If you have any interest in Kawaii then you should get this box!
