Once again my Petit Vour box was quite late in getting to me. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not but all of the vegan beauty boxes I subscribe to always take forever to arrive and are usually in the next month before I get them. Petit Vour is a luxury vegan and cruelty free monthly beauty box. It is $23 a month and there is no commitment to any length of time. This month Petit Vour teamed up with Vegan Beauty Review to pick the products that are ready to get set for snow and parties.
The box is just slightly larger than the info card so you can’t see anything of what you got. The back of the card lists the products and retails.
Those crazy squiggles are back! Unfortunately these black ones leave a black dust all over everything, which is a bit of a pain.
Blissoma Skincare Pure Sensitive Skin Soothing Complex-.5oz $13.00
This is a moisturizer type product that is for use around your eyes, on your face and decollete. It is supposed to help to reveal your own natural radiance. It also has a little label on it that you need to give it two weeks to really work, which I think is a great little way to remind people that while we may want instant results it takes time. This is a half sized bottle of this product and the full size has a pump but this has a dropper and it is not that great at getting the creme out.
Everyday Minerals Matte Blush in All Smiles-1.7g $4.25
I was just thinking yesterday that I have not received very many blushes in the boxes I get so I’m thrilled with this. I love mineral makeup and think it does make some of the best blushes. I will need to apply this with a light touch though because it is almost too coral instead of peach for my skin tone.
Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream in Lavender-28g $5.00
I have never used a deodorant that doesn’t come in a stick or roll-on before. It says to rub a pea sized amount into your armpits. Sounds a bit messy but this is made from coconut oil and baking soda which makes it antibacterial, so it should provide protection against smell. I think I’ll try it on a day where I’ll be staying home just incase.
Trust Fund Beauty 5-Free Nail Laquer in Do You Know Who My Father Is?-$16.00 Full Size
I think because this is 5-free I had an expectation that it would not smell as strongly as normal polish. I was wrong. The color and coverage is nice but it stinks, though not anymore then every other polish on the market. It’s a good soft pink neutral that can be worn anytime.
This I believe is my last box from Petit Vour. There is a small chance I didn’t cancel in time and may yet receive January’s box but I don’t think I will. I wanted to give the vegan and natural products a try and while I have been happy with the products I’ve tried it hasn’t been enough of a wow to make me continue on. This box has a value of $38.25 so about $10.00 over what I paid. If you want to try them out you can go to their site here.
