So I still have some missing December boxes that I’m hoping to get next week along with a couple of January boxes. I’m waiting for Danklo and Petit Vour and hope to get Indulge Me Box and Kawaii Box by the end of the week. While I am waiting for those a couple of the Memeboxes I ordered have arrived so I can give you a look at those.
Memebox is a non subscription beauty box. They are, as per their site, curated by our experts in Korea to offer you the widest selection of the hottest Korean beauty products. Memeboxes contains 4 – 7 full-sized items and deluxe samples, and contents vary from makeup, skin care, hair and body products. They seemed to be a fun bunch of things so I thought I’d give them a try. There are plenty of different themed boxes to choose from and shipping is $6.99 to Canada from Korea.
They ship in a bright pink bubble mailer.
Inside which is a bright pink box. The box is quite nice and definitely could be reused for something.
Inside is a card telling you what you got and how to use it, which is awesome because most of the packaging is not in English, though a few have pictures. This box has 6 full sized products centered around being cute in either packaging or names.
Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm in Strawberry-$12.00
There were 3 possible colors you could receive and I’m good with this pink. This smells like strawberries and feels really nice on. It’s a good lip balm.
Shara Shara Fairy’s Make-up Synergy Sun Cream SPF45-$21.00
This is a sunscreen that also evens out skin tone. I can’t wait to try it, however I have to figure out how to get into it first. I’ve tried pulling and twisting so far with no luck. I think the bottle is adorable and it will look great on my counter but I really do want to use it. Maybe I’ll just give it to my three year old and it’ll be open in seconds.
ddung Family Foam Cleansing Cream-$12.00
This is a facial cleanser with milk proteins and flower extracts. I think the cute factor in this one is the big eyed girl on the bottle. I always enjoy trying new cleansers so this will go into rotation.
Shara Shara Kissing Sugar Lip Scrub-$7.00
This uses sugar and walnut shells to gently remove dead skin from your lips. I tried it out and it is not to harsh of a scrub like they sometimes can be with the shells and it smells nice too. My lips are softer and reasy for more of the lip balm from before!
Youngwooza Oh! It’s Lovely and Soft Cream-$47.00
This is a face cream that is supposed to instantly provide hydration and then create a barrier to prevent moisture loss. You rub it in and then pat it for full absorption. It has a smell that I cannot identify but it’s not unpleasant. The bit I tried just on my hand is not greasy at all so that makes me happy to give it a go on my face.
Tonymoly Red Cheeks Girl’s Patch-$2.00
These are so odd. They feel like a squishy gel pocket and it says you stick them to your cheeks and leave on for 20-30 minutes till they are all absorbed, to get rid of dry red cheeks. I’m going to try them for sure but think I might feel a little weird walking around the house with them on. Though I guess it’s no different then wearing a face mask.
This box cost me $29.99 shipping included and has a value of $101.00, which is amazing! Everything is full size and while I have no idea about Korean beauty products I do know they are usually on the leading edge in products for it. All the boxes are a surprise with maybe only 1 or 2 spoilers for box and each box sells out quickly. I can see how all of these items fit into the cute theme and I have definitely bought products for a worse reason then I thought the package was cute. Stay tuned for a few more Memebox reveiws coming in the next few days.
