Luxe Box is a quarterly box that sends out 7-8 trial sized beauty and lifestyle discoveries every season. It is a Canadian box which is nice and shipping is included in the pricing. Each box is $26 or you can sign up for a year for $96, so a slight discount. They also had a few upgrade options if you wanted but I stuck with the standard box.
This fabulous box came inside an outer regular cardboard box. This is super study and really feels like a quality box.
Even the inside of the box is fancy. All the products come in a satiny drawstring bag. All of this packaging is reusable and that’s a nice change from packing squiggles that I have to remove from Bear’s mouth.
There is no info card but you can log in to your account and see the product descriptions. There was also a card from Skyn Iceland telling about a giveaway.
Suki Skincare Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser-30mL $10.95
This is a 100% pure ingredient sugar scrub for your face. It smells just like lemon bars and I want to lick it out of the tub! It promises to help smooth and even skin tone, reduce the appearance of blemishes, aging, wrinkles and fine lines while rejuvenating the complexion. It sounds wonderful and I hope it comes through for me.
Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Redwood Forest-$9.99 Full Size
I love Burt’s Bees products. I think I’ve tried over half of what they carry and am never sad when I do. This lip crayon is no exception. It looks like it would be dark but it goes on lighter and is a perfect everyday color. Happy, happy, happy!
Loose Button Eyelash Curler-$20.00
First off I totally disagree with their pricing on this. It’s nothing special and I know you can pick one up for waaaaay less. That aside I have an eyelash curler (I think it might be two even) and I never use it. Ever. I can’t be bothered and honestly if my mascara isn’t giving me the lift and curl I want I’ll just try a different one instead of spending time and effort to use a curler. Maybe I’m just lazy but this is not a win for me.
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo-30mL $10.00
I’ve received a few dry shampoos now in boxes and I haven’t had to break one out yet. However I am really wanting to try them and once I go back to work they will be more useful to me then now. Depending on what shampoo I’m using I sometimes get oily roots after only one day so I can’t wait.
Paula’a Choice Clinical KP Treatment Cloths-10 $14.00
These are not cleansing wipes but ones that you use to clear up acne or those little red bumps that appear on your body. I’ve never heard of this type of wipe but it seems like something useful.
Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Face Gels for Smile Lines-1pr $4.38
These are made to go just around your mouth to help reduce smile lines. I personally think if you’re going to get lines those are probably good ones but I can see why you might be wanting to get rid of them. I’m sure I can’t look any more ridiculous wearing these then I do in a mask so I’ll be trying them out.
Nicole by OPI Nail Polish in Profoundly Purple-3.75mL $3.99
This is such a cute little bottle of polish. It’s maybe a third of the size of regular. However I think they got my color wrong. It seems like a brown/bronze on my test nail, not purple. I like it though. It has a really fine micro shimmer thing going on too.
Butter London Lippy Moisture Matte Lipstick Sample
You had the option to upgrade this to a full sized lipstick for $10 if you wanted to. As you can see I did not. There would be enough product for one application under the foil.
The Winter Luxe Box had an overall value of $73.31 if you count the curler at their price. Pretty good for the $24 I paid and full of products I like and want to use. I think there were a few other different things sent out in some boxes based on your profile but for my first one, having no idea what to expect I am happy.
On day 20 of opening flaps in my Advent calendars I received,
Shea Shower Cream and Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Fauxmance.
I’m happy with these ones today. A great smelling shower gel and a lip gloss in a color I love. Yay day 20!!
