Danklo November 2014

Danklo is a monthly service that bills themselves as a “Monthly Life Enhancer”.  They ship out an assortment of things and “You’ll Never Guess What’s Inside”.  They have three shipping options ranging from $7.99 to $13.99 a month and you get from 1-2 to 1-5 gifts depending on your choice.  You do fill out a little survey so thy have an idea about you and your likes.  When I signed up there was a sweepstakes entry with every box but now the website says there will be a cash prize in each box from $1-$1000.  I guess I’ll have to wait for next month to see if they really do send me cash. I signed up for the Deluxe option.

The shipping envelope. It was really heavy.

Personalized info card welcoming me to Danklo and giving me the down low on what they shipped me.

9-LED Flashlight and Panasonic AAA Batteries

I already have a flashlight like this but since my toddler loves to take and play with it having an extra one is nice. I’m not sure if every time they send a device requiring batteries they give you extra ones but I think that it is awesome.

Kinetic Sand

This is what made the bag so heavy.  It looks like a regular bag of sand but it has an additive in it that makes it stay damp and stick together.  It doesn’t look like much but once I had it out of the bag and was playing with it, it’s so cool!!  It is hard to describe but it kind of melts if you pour it from hand to hand or onto a table.  It leaves no mess and only ticks to itself, not to you or the surface your playing on.  I’m not sure if this is the brand of sand I received but this video shows it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50_-zqsgDA4

This was a totally impulsive box purchase.  It seemed like it might be interesting and I had seen other people receiving some stuff that I thought was cool so I went for it.  I’m glad it is not very expensive because it wasn’t the best stuff in it but it was fun and useful so I’m going to give it a couple more months to see if they do ship money in the next ones and also to see if I get some stuff I never knew I needed.
