Lip Factory is a monthly box that ships out full size make up. While their focus is on lips they send out a range of products for your face. Their monthly fee is $26 including shipping. There is a slight discount if you sign up for 6 or 12 months. A percentage of their box is also donated to Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach. You will get 5-7 products each time. You do fill out a survey so they can somewhat customize your products to your likes and colors. This box felt like it took forever to get here. I received notification it had been shipped on the 15th and it arrived on the 31st. Probably one of the longest times of any I’ve received so far but now that it’s here, let’s open it up.
This is the way it ships and there is no other box inside so less waste. This months theme-You Are Beautiful

DeVine Lip Shimmers in Rose and Merlot-$8.95 for two
These are lip balms with all the good stuff found in wine in a lip product. Neither of them has very much color when applied and very little shimmer but they do make your lips feel soft. They are also natural, alcohol, gluten, cruelty, pesticide, and paraben free.
Frost Cosmetics Lip Gloss & Lipstick in 1-$15.99
There is no color on this tube and when I checked the website it could be a few different ones so I’ll just call it Copper. It’s a good thing this came on Halloween because there is no other day I could pull this off. It is not sheer at all, it has full coverage and it is literally copper on my lips. If I wanted to be a robot for Halloween I would wear this, it is pure metallic. Also the texture is super odd and globby. I originally thought it was just slightly frozen from transit but it has not changed after returning to room temperature. Maybe if this had come in one of the other colors you can buy it might have been something I would be happy with but this is my first hated item I’ve received in a box and it will either be given to Bug to play with or get tossed.
Michael Marcus Lipstick in Desire-$24.00
This is supposed to be a long wearing lipstick so we’ll have to give it a go. It is a bit of a bright pink but completely wearable. It is slightly grainy in texture while you’re putting it on but feels okay on.
Frost Makeup Bag-$10.99
At least this is an item from Frost I’ll use.
Ofra Eyeliner in Grapeful-$13.00
This is a super dark purple eyeliner. I just ran out of my last purple liner so timing on this is perfect.
29 Cosmetics Reserves Lipstick in Sparkling Shiraz-$25.00
This is not on my info card so I’m guessing it’s a bonus item. It’s another product made with grape seed extract like the Devine lip shimmers. It promises to help make lips look smoother and to visibly ease signs of aging. One can only hope. I was a little scared about how fushia it looked but it goes on much lighter and has a nice shimmer without being super shiny.
After all the waiting this box was worth it. It contained $97.93 worth of stuff!!! Even if I take off the lip gloss it’s still $81.94 which is four times what I paid. Lip product is probably my biggest weakness so the fact that this box focuses mostly on them is good for me. I only hope shipping is shortened next time.
